Merlin Lazer, Low E coating detector
"""Merlin Lazer"" portable instrument for easy and non-destructive measurement of thicknesses of rebated glass, glass and air gaps in double or triple glazing, double-layer and multi-layer glass panels. The instrument operates on a principle similar to that used by the pachometer (Réf.18333C) but readings are much easier and much more accurate, as the refracted and reflected light source is actually a laser beam. For glass thicknesses up to 65 mm and air gaps up to 38 mm. Two other gauges can be used to complete identification of a glass panel and: (1) indicate whether a glass panel (or each of the panels in a double glazed panel) is toughened or otherwise - (2) detect whether a glass panel (or one of the glass panels in a double glazing assembly) is coated with a low emissivity coating.
Not for sale in Germany."
